A home inspection is a visual observation of the major systems of a home that someone is under contract to purchase.    

Major home systems include Roofing, Electrical, Plumbing, Structural, Windows & Doors, Air Conditioning and Heating systems, Exterior Grading & Drainage, etc.   

 

Some or all of the systems can be in need of repair or replacement and a home inspection should reveal these components.
